Free play areas, virtual reality spaces and tournaments and competition zones. Sponsored by Animayo and Binter Canarias, it was located on the ground floor of the building, with a total surface of 225 m2 and capacity for 400 people.



Free play area- free activity

Video game consoles with the latest titles so you could try them out and spend time playing for free. In the area of free play, you could try recent novelties, as well as consolidated classics, different themes such as driving simulators, fighting games, action games, dance, etc., available permanently on different platforms and supports throughout the week in the opening hours of Animayo.

VR Area – Free entrance

Hyper-realistic virtual reality experiences!
Virtual reality was one of the main protagonists of Animayo 2017 with the first animated virtual reality show, open to all audiences and free access in Las Palmas. In this space you could immerse yourself free of charge in the latest technologies that are revolutionizing the world, with the most advanced gadgets and experiences of this field in a dynamic space.

You could find:

Tilt Brush: The virtual reality app created by Google with which you could paint in 3D. Draw and design in a 3D environment with the different tools of Tilt Brush, very easy to use even if you did not have previous knowledge, being able to give free rein to your creativity and the limit was your imagination. Thanks to this tool, the virtual world could be your study of painting and the air, your canvas. Connected to HTC Vive virtual reality glasses, the user can enter a three-dimensional space where they can draw what they want and interact with the strokes created.

HTC Vive: Manufactured by HTC and Valve. The device is designed to be used in a small space and immersed in a virtual world in which the user is allowed to walk and use controllers to interact with virtual objects.

Oculus Rift: Developed by Oculus VR, recreates a 3D vision in stereo with a great depth, the images are presented for each eye. Features included head movement control, weapon tracking, increased resolution, and wireless operations configured for computers.

Simulador de Vuelo: Unprecedented realism of their graphics, including three-dimensional representations of buildings and meticulously reproduced geographical features. The terrain on which we will pilot is represented with great detail.
